AFCO Performance Group, LLC Looking for Assembly Specialist – DeWitts Radiator at Wixom, MI Full Time

Hiring Bonus:  New employees will receive a $2000 hiring bonus.  Half of the bonus will be paid after successfully completing the initial 90-day probationary period.  The second half of the bonus will be paid after 180 days.

All DeWitts Radiator employees are eligible for a monthly performance bonus!

Daily activities may include pulling parts for radiator builds, prepping components for radiator core assembly, ensuring components meet general quality requirements, and operating core building machinery. You will use hand tools such as wrenches, squares, and a tape measure to perform daily tasks to set-up and build cores. In addition, you will likely flex to many different work areas in the company, as needed. 

We are looking for a team member that enjoys daily or weekly goal setting and teaming up to exceed expectations. Regular shifts are 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday from 5:30am to 4:00pm with occasional overtime. There are NO work hours on Saturdays and Sundays.  The most successful team members are competitive and keep score, adapt well to change, notice defects and details naturally, and sincerely care about others & enjoy a family-like atmosphere. 

Job responsibilities, skills and qualifications include, but are not limited to those outlined below:

• We value teamwork, positive attitude, leadership, attention to detail, craftsmanship, pride in your work, and effort. 
• Ability to produce quality product in a fast-paced production facility.
• Familiarity with Metric and US measuring standards.
• Loading and unloading the braze oven.
• Building custom cores for radiators by hand.
• Must be able to stand for an entire work shift.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Experience with basic machine shop equipment and machinery is required.
• High school diploma or a GED.
• Maintain good attendance in accordance with our attendance policy.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Completion of background check and drug screening prior to employment.
