The CAD Operator is responsible for interpreting and working alongside machinists and mechanical engineers to manufacture industrial parts.
Job seniority: entry level
Responsibilities
• Utilize programs such as AutoCAD & Solidworks to facilitate manufacturing processes.
• Interpret and work alongside machinists and mechanical engineers to manufacture industrial parts.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.
• Follow design specifications to create detailed technical drawings and blueprints.
• Make necessary adjustments and modifications to drawings as required.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and record-keeping of designs and drawings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Continuously improve CAD skills and knowledge to stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
Requirements
• Previous experience utilizing CAD in the manufacturing industry is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD and Solidworks software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret design specifications and technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
