Summary:
The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing and bank reconciliations. This role will ensure the accurate and timely recording and reporting of financial data and requires someone with a strong work ethic who can work independently with a can-do attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Timely, accurate and efficient accounting close on a monthly basis
- Verify accuracy of all accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and general ledger Assist management with preparation and completion of the fiscal year budgeting process
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Supervises the preparation of the monthly financial reporting package
- Resolve accounting issues and follow-up on discrepancies
- Conduct reporting, analysis, and documentation of accounting projects
- Other finance related duties, at the discretion of your manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Five to seven years public accounting experience preferable
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Excellent organizational, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments as needed.
Other:
- Advantix is headquartered in Frisco, TX, but this is a virtual, home office-based role.
- Travel may be required for the execution of the duties of the position.
