Job Description:
Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Provides administrative, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Planning and Supply Chain Sourcing, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations.
Duties:
Works safely, takes responsibility for personal safety and safety of teammates
Ensure materials and tools are correct
Ensure calibrated tools are controlled and calibration current
Ensure materials and tools are processed on time and delivered to the right locations
Validates inventory items are tracked, traced, controlled, and is accurate.
Seeks and lead continuous improvement of material and tool handling processes
Scan, archive, and search receiving documentation
Research/identify parts storage locations
Pull parts and fill Program work orders
Conducts Systems Applications and Products (SAP) transactions as needed
Cycle counting of inventory bin locations
Relocate palletized materials
Reconcile/consolidate on-hand materials
Re-package/Re-label bagged parts in bin locations as required
Education/Certifications
High School diploma and 2 years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. “
Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Detail oriented but able to understand the big picture.
Ability to read and follow policies / procedures
Ability to work within deadlines
Standard work hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (local time). Ability to work hours necessary to meet business objectives, and may include working overtime (40+ hours in a work week)
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security clearance (as required)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with logistics/warehousing.
Computer experience and working with SAP/ERP Systems.
Experience working in aerospace industry.
Experience working under the safety and security requirements of a secure government facility.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Ability to work hours necessary to meet business objectives. This may include working overtime (40+ hours in a work week)
