Tier 1 Automotive Supplier looking for a Product Engineer to join their team in Troy, MI IMMEDIATELY!

Pay: up to 110K; based on experience

Summary for the Product Engineer:

The battery cooling team is responsible for the engineering design, release, and development of e-PTC and E-Heater components for North America including battery cooling plates, chillers, refrigerant modules, electronics cooling and E-Heaters. The team is also expected to work closely with supporting activities such as process engineering, operations, purchasing, program management, and counterparts across the globe.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties for a Product Engineer:

• Coordination of concept, design, and release of e-PTC components.
• BOM management in SAP and coordination of packaging of e-PTC products into customer vehicle environments.
• Define thermal capacities and technical requirements for e-PTC components and harmonize with customer needs
• Oversee product cost sensibility and sensitivity
• Create and execute DVP&R for battery cooling products
• Coordinate efforts with MBoG for e-PTC and E-Heaters
• Liaison between Engineering and local customers.

Education and or Experience for the Product Engineer:

• Bachelor Science in Engineering (BSME preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years experience in automotive product development preferred
• Familiarity with heat exchanger manufacturing processes preferred
• Knowledge of thermodynamics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
