Description:
The position of the ILS (Integrated Logistics) Specialist works in close coordination with the logisticians
and technical manual writers to develop the provisioning data required to properly support and
manage the hardware system throughout its lifetime.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
With direct supervision and guidance from the Sr Provisioning Lead, and with the assistance of
other Logistics Professionals at L2 Defense, the ILS Provisioning Specialist will undertake the
following:
o The Bill of Materials (BOM) or parts lists of a hardware system,
o The components as output from the Level of Repair Analysis (LORA,
o The tasks generated from the Maintenance Task Analysis (MTAs),
o The items, along with their respective maintenance levels depicted from the
Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC).

Requirements:
o Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in the Provisioning Field.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Publisher and Power Point.
o Excellent grammar, technical writing and editing skills.
o Document Management experience.
o Knowledge of Provisioning data requirements such as: Reference Number, Contractor
and Government Entity (CAGE), Item Name, Provisioning Contract Control Number
(PCCN), Provisioning List Item Sequence Number (PLISN), Usable On Code (UOC),
identification of the system breakdown, maintenance coding, maintenance levels as they
relate to the Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability Code (SMR), replacement factors,
overhaul rates, roll-up quantities, design change information, long lead items, bulk items,
tools and test equipment, etc. and associated parts manuals, as applicable.
o Capable of producing, analyzing, and understanding Logistics Support Analysis Reports
output from PowerLog-J as they pertain to Provisioning.
o Knowledge in the use of on-line parts screening tools such as Defense Logistics
Information Service (DLIS) screening for identification of NSNs and other pertinent data
required for Provisioning and WebFLIS.
o A.A./A.S or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
