The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the Operations Team. The Operations Supervisor must have a minimum of 2 years managing in a collection environment. Must have healthcare knowledge in practices and procedures, including patient billing and insurance billing. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The core responsibilities of an Operations Supervisor are management of staff assigned. Ensure all inbound calls are answered with in existing guidelines. Ensure all outbound calls are made per existing guidelines. Ability to coach or take over calls requiring assistance. Ensure the highest level of collections is performed by Team. Staff counseling and continued development. Ensure Service Level agreement goals are met and or exceeded. This position requires the ability to work independently, strategic planning, accomplish goals, excellent customer service and communication skills, creativity, patience, and flexibility. Operations Supervisor reports to the department Manager.
