Drives the supplier qualification process and ensures the supply base is and remains fully qualified and compliant. Schedules, monitors and approves supplier part, material and service qualification activities, e.g. Process Planning and Readiness Preparation (PPRP), Supplier Product Qualification Process (SPQP), capacity analysis, and verification in accordance with ABB project timing and milestones. Ensures supplier is in compliance with ABB Supplier Code of Conduct, ethics and corporate governance, ABB standards and applicable regulatory requirements. Plans and conducts, or ensures, supplier assessments (e.g. potential, scheduled, special), including assessment reporting and findings (major, minor or opportunities for improvement). Also requires 3 years of experience working with technical engineering product drawings using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Metrology concepts.
