Responsibilities
• Protect, cover, or remove boxes and equipment affected by sanitation process
• Dispose of dirt and product left over on production department floors or pans
• Clean heavy oil, grease, and dirt from machines, pipes, and conveyors
• Wash walls and ceiling
• Transport trash and waste to proper disposal area
• Start pump to force cleaning solution through machinery, piping, or vats
• Clean and sanitize equipment according to company procedures
• Scrub tanks, vats, and kettles
• Clean floors with mop or electrical scrubber
• Transport materials within plant using industrial truck
• Clean and change screens and filters
• Complete required documentation for procedures performed
Requirements
• Experience reading and understanding MSDS
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Bilingual preferred
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions
