We are seeking to hire a self-motivated Logistics Specialist for a temp to hire opportunity!

Skills the client is seeking:

• Prints contract summary shipment report daily or as needed
• Requests shipping instructions from customers, follow up as needed
• Requests bookings from both freight forwarders and steamship lines
• Enters booking into the system, print forms and put information in shipment folders
• Familiar with Phyto’s and Pecs
• Assist with other duties in the logistics department as needed
• Compare booking schedules with almond logic
• Communication with the plant regarding shipments

Requirements:

• Familiar with Word and Excel
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Solid written and verbal skills
• Customer service attitude

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bakersfield, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
