The ideal candidate has an in-depth understanding of local and national engineering best practices for bicycle, pedestrian, and transit priority design as well as experience with adapting these best practices in a retrofit environment to ensure the best possible outcome for all street users.
This position will work under minimal supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment and include these primary responsibilities:
1. Oversee the design of a large number of street design projects that repurpose existing street space to provide for safer, more multimodal street operations.
