SUMMARY: The Treasury Operations Specialist provides day to day support for commercial deposit customers, Business Online users and the Treasury Sales team while adhering to regulatory requirements and policies. Assists the AVP, Treasury Operations as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: North Shore Bank’s Position Descriptions are intended to describe only the major responsibilities of the job. Assists in the development and implementation of updated processes and procedures.
Completes Basic and Module Business Online set ups.
Completes Positive Pay set ups, positive pay daily reviews (the scrub) and customer notifications.
Answers day to day questions from the Treasury sales team and Treasury clients.
Answers all client and branch inquiries coming into the 800# and centralized email providing consistent, quality service in regards to technical and service needs for commercial deposit accounts.
Reviews account opening documentation for commercial deposit customers.
Processes limit adjustments for RDC, wire and ACH adhering to SLA.
Verifies wire accuracy and approvals within SLA.
Monitors and creates relevant reports.
Sets a positive and professional example for loan and treasury operations department teams in both actions and words at all times.
Has global outlook for all treasury operations areas and offers assistance to all areas as available.
Performs other related activities and duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or its equivalent is required. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in a business related major is preferred. Prior experience in banking deposit operations and/or customer service required. Previous commercial deposit operations and/or treasury/cash management experience desired.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Position requires a functional knowledge of Treasury Solutions legal issues to effectively work the portfolio. Ability to effectively utilize software tools, and communicate with branch personnel, loan officers, department managers and senior management. Must have a personal organizational style that is results-oriented along with the ability to communicate expectations to a range of employees, customers, and other external resources.
