Responsibilities • Perform control room and roving operator watch station activities
• Maintain plant records and perform water chemistry tests
• Ensure environmental permit conditions are constantly met
• Assist in developing operational policies and procedures
• Identify and implement profit improvement projects
• Respond to abnormal plant conditions or requirements
• Provide outage support to the Maintenance Department
• Administratively reports to the Operations Manager
• Report to Lead Combined Cycle Operator while on shift
Requirements • Must possess a Massachusetts First or Second Class Engineer’s License
• Minimum of 5 years experience in steam and electric power plant operations
• Additional background/skills in maintenance or technical discipline
• Ability to qualify and maintain qualification as a control room and roving operator
• Ability to work extended hours and respond to call-ins
• Experienced in the use of personal computers and software applications
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
Key Skills Needed • Massachusetts First or Second Class Engineer’s License
• Knowledge of power plant equipment and operations
• Background in maintenance or technical discipline
• Ability to work with hazardous materials
• Proficiency in personal computers and software applications
