Civil Engineer

We have a terrific opportunity for a Licensed Civil Engineer with 6+ years of post graduate experience to work. Join our friendly, highly-skilled team on diverse Civic, Commercial, Education, and Healthcare and Laboratory projects from our Portland, Maine office, with opportunities to work from home as your schedule permits.

Work Activities will include:

• Civil Engineer of Record for site permitting and construction documents.
• Day to day interaction with Clients, Facility Engineers and multi-discipline teams including Architects, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineers, and specialty consultants.
• Applying professional experience with a variety of civil system types and applications.
• Reviewing and evaluating codes, standards, and product specifications to inform designs and analyses for new construction and renovation.
• Reviewing and interpreting technical documents and designs.
• Authoring technical reports, specifications, and project correspondence.
• Preparing site permitting documents and providing public presentation.
• Performing field visits to document and evaluate existing conditions and ongoing construction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
