The Safety Companion I provides continuous observation and virtual surveillance of multiple patients at multiple sites. The Safety Companion I will verbally redirect the patient from engaging in at-risk behaviors; summon the nursing staff if the patient is engaging in harmful behaviors or requires assistance; while remaining knowledgeable and supportive of patient and institutional confidentiality and related hospital policies.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School/GED
Other skills/knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: 1 year work experience in a service or health care industry
Other requirements/information:
Proven ability to follow detailed written and oral instructions Efficiency in multitasking, with the ability to prioritize simultaneous situations.
Excellent telephone etiquette, with the ability to communicate compassionately and professionally with patients, using microphone and headset
