What You’ll Do:
Champion SHE. Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times. Comply with all Safety, Health, Environmental, and other Company policies. Comply with all applicable state and local laws and federal MSHA requirements.
Perform Maintenance. Perform pesticide maintenance activities in Natural and Forest areas while exercising independent judgment and promoting safe work habits.
Operate and Maintain Equipment. Operate a variety of heavy duty equipment, including tractors and bush hogs, as well as hydraulic equipment and power tools. Perform routine maintenance such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.
Skills You’ll Need:
Education. Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Experience. Must have a minimum of two years experience in natural land maintenance, including exotics control.
Time Management Skills. Must have good planning skills and have the ability to prioritize objectives while showing independent judgment and promoting safe work habits.
Communication Skills. Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
Flexibility. Must be able to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
Technology Skills. Must have the ability to operate computer systems including email, maps, browsers, and data entry programs.
Ready to Drive. Must have a valid driver’s license.
