Job Summary
We’re hiring aManufacturing Test Engineer IIin ourFort Walton Beach, FLoffice to integrate hardware and software for manufacturing testing for new test equipment development and sustainment of legacy test equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility will be to integrate hardware and software for manufacturing testing
- Debug, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and other network and system problems, as related to manufacturing testing
- Determine opportunities to improve efficiency and stability in data processing and workflow
- Stay up to date on industry trends and technologies in order to ensure the organization is taking advantage of the most current technology
- Provide direct engineering support to manufacturing operations
- Perform design, fabrication, modification and/or evaluation of manufacturing operations
- May prepare plans, conduct support studies, and provide analysis or tests in the development of manufacturing operations
- May assign work to drafters and/or technicians.
- Responsibilities are moderate in scope where analysis of situations or data involves a variety of common factors
- Only general guidance is needed on routine work; instructions on new assignments as needed
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Involved with the design and development of manufacturing test systems for performance testing of products for product acceptance. Perform basic software development and debugging of test systems in multiple software tools. Review detail designs to create test protocols. Assist technicians in the build of the test hardware.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and2+ yearsof relevant experience in computer engineering, network engineering or similar (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience)
- Experience with hardware/software integration and test
- Experience with algorithm development, basic programming structures, basic data structures
Additional preferred experience:
- Experience with LabVIEW test program development
- Experience with common production test equipment such as: multimeter, AC/DC power supply, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope
- Experience with SDLC, Ethernet, 1553, GPIB, RS232/422 interfaces
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, R
- RF experience
