Outpatient Clinic Registered Nurses have high-level critical thinking skills, vast clinical knowledge, and are able to stay calm in a fast paced environment. They get the opportunity to work directly with Providers and support a variety of modalities in a clinic setting.
About this Clinic:
Outpatient Clinic at the Main Hospital, with 12 Exam Rooms (1 specific for Eye doctor)
Serve broad patient population from age 0 to End of Life; Pain, Oncology, Infusion, Pulmonary, Surgery Patients; Cross Trained to support all areas
Amazing team work throughout all levels – Collaborating with Provider to provide 1:1 patient care
Strong team environment, collaboration and communication at the highest level; fast paced, with ton of variety in patient modalities

Responsibilities:
A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Answers phone calls and addresses the needs of the caller.
Schedules patient appointments.
Complete prior authorizations and referrals as needed via phone calls and/or with online access.
Accepts responsibility for completing any other tasks as needed or as requested by the Clinic Director.
Schedule may vary depending on needs of specialty providers.
